I am also going to bass pro tonight. Going to send details of the location of the meeting point. Pack light as you can and we should be only taking one gas auger, etc. I will be bringing my tent, chair, 3 rods, tip up, small tackle box, bait, and depending on weather, a small heater. All I need.

Ok, so lets say we meet no later than 6:45 at the parking spot. Will send a PM to everyone where exactly the parking spot is. I will be there for sure at 6:30, in my red tacoma. Anyone that is later than that will have to make their own way down the trail, it will be easy to see and follow the trail if we are all parked there. We'll be just to the right of the trail when it gets to lake. See you all there. Will send PM tonight with more details.

I'd love to tag along as well if there's still room. I'm coming from Calgary as well, I can meet super early either up there or in Calgary.

To confirm, who will bring the auger? I have a 10" jiffy that I can bring though as stang mentioned in an effort to pack light we really only need one auger.

Let me know if your already taking one down the hill and I will leave mine at home.

I have a small 6" manual folding auger that I'll probably pack as a backup.

It wasn't too bad weekend at Spray, the ice is pretty soft and my auger was just long enough to get through and it was a good way to get warm . A 8" power auger is definitely preferred though.

I will bring mine as well then. Two power augers should be good enough insurance to leave the hand auger in your truck. jts let me know if based on numbers going I should bring my home made 2 man shelter that folds into a 4x8 plywood sled. By the sounds of it, it may be difficult to pull up the steep hill though I am willing to give it a go.

looks like you have the dreaded troutfeveritus, you should take a day off and get healthy, I heard the fastest cure is to catch a trout and give it a big kiss.
lets try it on Friday

Weather report is for fair skies and moderate winds plus the full moon (which don't make a bit of sense during the day) but the approaching low might make all the difference in the world. looks like 6.5 km past the bridge to me. Dave Si

The secret of the rod is to rub it just right. Then you'll catch every fish in there. Up to you to figure out the right way, though.

Yeah...bring the video camera, guys, I wanna see this
