Thanks for the update. It came at an ideal time. I am thinking of hitting the reservoir soon after opening day in early May. I know exactly where to go, its just I was unsure if it would be ice-free. Now I know.

it will not be ice free. we are getting too cold at night. expect another 2 weeks..... or more...... in fact, I wouldnt try the res till at least june....... but seriously though. wont be open for another 2-3weeks

Yep we all know our spots I had planned to go east of calgary but if that doesnt work out I might hit Glenmore
