As for salt-water fishing charters around Kitimat BC, there is very locally well known and popular charter fleat named Nauticle West Charters. I have seen pictures of that fleet's catches and the guide seems to know how to put fish into the boat well. I think it would be well worth looking them up first. The charter operater appears to be good natured, but I couldn't be 100% sure. I wouldn't just rule out on nauticle west and would still look around though and do some more research. As for a word of caution there was this employee I was talking to at the Fishin Hole in West Ed that said he went halibut fishing in Kitimat BC on a charter he and didn't even get a bite all day. The same employee said he caught halibut every time he fished out of Prince Rupert.
