In urbanization causing sea level rises?

Study showed La Nina caused increased precipitation on land and a significant drop in ocean levels (1/4 of an inch).

That drop was short lived and water rose again. So why did water not stay? Is farming practices and development reducing the ability for watersheds to absorb water?

true...there are some growing and some shrinking. They don't study why some grow however...just study the ones that shrink.

You have to think a few years of heavy snow like last year and the Columbia Icefields will start growing again.

With all the trash being dumped in the oceans...why wouldn't the sea levels rise?? It's just a matter of time before you'll be able to drive to hawaii.
