Carwash membership

Does anyone on here have one of those monthly carwash cards ? Every time I've gone out this year so far my rims get coated in mud and it makes the smooth highway feel like an Edmonton back alley road. Currently spending around 25 bucks to get enough mud off to stop the truck from violently shaking.
Is it worth it to get an unlimited wash card for hunting season/ anyone have a more effective way to get mud out of the rims other than pull off the highway and poke it with a stick?

What does the thing cost? I could see such a thing just increasing how much time they have to spend cleaning their sump while reducing the cash taken in. That frozen mud can take a lot of toonies to get cleaned off.

Im told if you spray some Pledge or cooking oil on your rims it helps prevent the mud from sticking. Ive never tried it though.

there is a spray you can buy for snow blowers so ice won't stick. I spray my inner fenders and rims with it and it helps.

There was a fellow in my hometown who supposedly had figured out how to activate the car wash without paying..........word was he ALWAYS had a clean truck!

That is a drive through wash package. I doubt that would do much for removing the mud. With the big spinning brushes I would't take my car through it anyhow but for those that are okay with the brushes for regular car washing or taxis that would be a heck of a deal. You could wash your car every day or two. I have never seen an unlimited membership for a wand wash but it would be interesting if there was one.

I spray my rims with WD40. It makes it easier to remove mud and ice and it helps protect them from the salt. I would think PAM would do similar.

That would likely be a poly glycol blend of sorts.

I have yet to see an auto car wash that would clean the inside of rims. That is where the shaking comes from.

This might work / years back i ran a cabover truck through grasshopper country on a daily trip / we sprayed the front with Pam cooking oil and the bugs washed off relitivly easy

You definitely don't want Lube on your rotors but all you have to do is spray the lube on a paper towel and wipe you rims if you aren't accurate enough with a spray can to keep the lube where you want it.
