I’m a game warden in Montana and my truck is a state owned vehicle.

Cooper AT3, mine have 60,000k on them and about 50% wear on them and I drive lots of gravel. The last set I had I manage to get 80,000k out of them.

Big fan of General Grabber AT2s. I run a studded set for the winter.

Really?, I don't think A/T II xtreme are even an ice rated tire?
I'd much rather have a duratrac or T/A ko2.

I think he's referring to the AT II W which is rated an all weather tire. I personally thought they were too noisy but most my miles are hwy.

No AT tire will be as good as a winter tire for icy roads. But for an all around tire I love my Duratracs. Look good, not noisy, good on gravel, mud , snow etc.. have about 35k on them and they still have 12/32 remaining.

I have studded DuraTracs on my new 4runner, they're good all-around tires but heavy (I could only get E-rated in my size).

I also had just installed the 3rd set of General Grabber AT/2 studded tires on my Tacoma before I sold it to buy the 4runner.

They were more quiet, but less off-road traction. Still a competent tire, especially in the winter. My 1st set was E-rated, then bought the P-rated version on sale at Canadian Tire.

That said, once the DuraTracs wear out I'll be looking for the same size in the Grabber AT/2 and running them studded year round.
