Ice thickness on Michelle Res.

was wondering if anyone has been out to michelle reservoir this year yet? if so is the ice walkable? thanks in advance

Went out there today, punched 2 holes. About 6 inches. Let the season begin! Gonna set up the new 6 man Frabill Headquarters this weekend and give it a try. woo hoo!

Was ou that way today, 5-6" of ice and the trout were biting too. Fished for about 45 minutes and got 10 trout.

For sure that's the norm there. Last year I caugt a fair bunch in the 12 - 14 inch range too and even one 15 incher but I did fish it pretty hard that spring/summer. Never fished Mich this year though. Glad to hear it's still doing well!
