I saw that episode, and was very impressed with her skills. That was the first time I had seen Beast. Is it 3 new people every episode?

Different 3 person teams, locations and animals left for food for each episode.

Tried watching this last night. Not interesting at all. They should've spent some time teaching the cast how to film. I didn't like how it all of a sudden jumped a week ahead.
Fail, on history's part.

I enjoyed it. I was a bit surprised the 2 guys wimped out and left the woman there. She did well to last the 30 days.
Those guys are probably going to be embarrassed trying to explain why they couldn't hack it and left the woman behind.

I am pretty sure he was on here for a while promoting the Atlatl, in fact yes it was him!

Looked like there was someone else filing to me. Are they actually alone this time?I thought the shows where it was only one person were better.

Still good though.

I watch both episodes, The first one when the guys tapped out I thought here we go again more non real, reality TV. But in the end I admired and respected the lady for carrying on, she made the show. The 2nd one I really enjoyed, not because it was a must see bush craft show. But I like how the guys got along and seem to work well together with very little drama. That’s how it should work when a group needs each other in a survival situation. I’ll give it another shot.

Ya, that is what I mentioned to the wife near the end of the show I watched, Is that there must be a film crew this time? not actually alone?

The Alone series the people actually filmed themselves.
I still wonder why the need to kill such a large animal for a 30 day show? 1 large moose for three people for 30 days? Which ended up only being one person. And most of it went to waste.

Good one show so far I watched.

You read my thoughts exactly. Those first two who dropped out didn’t have their heads in the game.

The first guy who tapped out was sick. Was no good to the other two. Second guy who tapped out was just a wimp. The woman was a better man than most men. Tough and smart.
The three dudes in this week's episode made it because they worked together throughout. No drama and complaining, just doing.
The 30 day format is better watching than earlier Alone show that went on and on until there was one person left.

Ya that lady has great skills. Said she hunted with her father. I hope when my kids are older, they'd be able to help their families survive for a few days if they had to. As for the other episode with the guy from Alberta, I fell asleep about 20 minutes into it. Not because of the show but it was past my bedtime lol. I'm glad they made it.

I missed the first show with the moose but watched the second with the musk ox. Me and the Mrs can't figure out what the prize is, being able to survive with bragging rights, or is everyone going to compete again at the end?

And does anyone else think the bear got "taken care of" by the producers for safety sake? I can't see a bear being scared off of food and remain scared off for 30 days?

I doubt they shot the bear it would add all kinds of drama if it kept coming back.

I’m surprised that of all these survival shows ....not one fish trap. I’d make one about my third day and put the liver in it from the moose/ox then let it do the work for me.

Episode 2 was kind of cool featuring little brother of the guy who won Alone 6. Gotta respect a guy who smokes a moose then whacks a wolverine with a hatchet.

Plus he wore Kuiu while doing it. Has to be a superior woodsman.
