Too late to go fishing ?
Today.... I wanted to go out today, but Im not sure where to head too. Its suppose to snow tonight into tomorrow...
I just got too busy with my morning chores that I lost track of the time.. Is it still a decent time if I left by noon ?
Just south of Calgary.
Thanks !!

You need to learn the river in your town, when its open for fishing, it used to have some very nice fish in it.

Get a fish glove so you don't have to worry about bites and such and it's never too late to fish

Yes, the HighWood is closed. I checked the reg. book
Yes, I have a pr. of gloves but seeing some of these pictures of people's catch, there pretty big ! I am practicing to hold them correctly and not dropping them. The biggest I ever held was 2 ft.
When it comes spring, I am going out and not sure with who.. a guided fish tour. This way I can also learn the basic of fly-ing.
Thanks everyone for your help.. again !!

Hi Tara.
I'll take you and Russ out in the spring and teach you some of my bad fishing habits. Pike love to take flys shallow in the spring. Maybe I'll take the Grandkids and they will show you how to release a walleye. They learned this summer and do a great job of it although it's difficult for me to watch thinking they are going to get poked but so far they haven't. Took the batteries out of the boat last Sunday and taking it to it's winter pasture soon. I just hate putting the boat away. Rick.

Does that mean you're coming out with me around the end of the month for a trout fry out on the ice?
