Default Couple Fat Rainbows

I haven't posted pics for a while on here and the fish pics have been slow lately so here goes. Here are a couple of fat rainbows from last weekend that I pulled in. Edmonton area. Tiny teardrop shaped silver vertical jig with 4 maggots on it. Light jigging then stationary for the bite. Seven feet of water, hook 10 inches off the bottom.

It is easy in Irfanview (free app). Just draw a rectangle with the mouse in the area you want, click effects - pixelize and hit save. Takes about 10 seconds max.

Keep6matt, I think your big trophy rainbow is a male fish and the two I got were females. Please show us the results of your taxidermy project when you are done. I think you mentioned you were doing a replica. The males have much deeper colors and a bigger mouth (opposite of humans....lol.). Here is a male rainbow that my buddy Paul got out of the same lake same spot last winter. That fish had awesome colors:

Also, here is different male fish that Paul caught and had the taxidermy done. As you can see, it is a male too. This one came out a different local lake:
