source for Bergers

Anyone know of a source for Berger VLD's? I'm looking for 7mm 140 grainers.

Russels and Wholesale Sports both carry Bergers, can`t say for sure about what you are looking for though.

I haven't tried Russels but will now. As for WSS, I ordered 300 each of 6.5 130 grainers and 7mm 140 grainers a long time ago. What came in was 6.5 140 grainers and no 7mm's. I reordered about 6 weeks ago and, so far, nothing.

BTW, I'm still undecided about which 6.5 to go with, the 260, the 260AI or the 6.5/284. After working with the Lapua brass for my 6/284, I'm leaning towards the 6.5/284 loaded with 130's at 2900 fps as I still have 300 unfired Lapua brass leftover.

130's at 2900 should be pretty flat and since it is not a hot load out of a 6.5-284 you should get some extra barrel life out of it.

Just received an e-mail from Joe Ponto at Rps and they don't stock the Bergers I want nor can they supply an eta on them.

Try Bashaw Sports.
I saw Bergers there but didn't look to see if they stock the weight you were looking for.

For those looking for large rifle primers, they still had some there.

Give Randy a call and he should be able to check for you weight of bullets

Just received an e-mail from June at Russell's and their order of Bergers are in. I purchased 300 140 grain 7mm VLD's @ $49.99 per 100 plus shipping. June guessed around $25.00 to ship via Canada Post.
