nice fishing man, I very like the brook trout. I'd love to have with colors like that on my wall. Now that I have a job with days off I'll spend the time for fishing and can't wait for the day to get a nice big colorfull brook trout.
Good ice fishing everyone

Nice picture's, beauty fish. Looks like you had a few successful trips.
Got to have a shirt on you can wipe all the fish slime off with eh
Still gotta reserve the flame shirts for the worst of the slime, a concoction of burbot and pike slime.

It's ok...the oilers are golfing bound again anyway...and with Kippersive in net...you never know when the Flames might lose 10 in a row and go down the drain too!

Sorry I know this all belongs in the NHL thread, and I don't normally stand up for the Flames, but the Canucks? If I recall they are still the last Canadian team without a cup... bahaha

Let's think of the present...not dwell on the past! Luongo = cup! You'll be seeing one in Vancouver before any other Cdn team in the near future!
Sorry for getting off topic.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Of course while those pics were some of the highlights of 2007, there were plenty of tough trips mixed in to keep a guy humble. Actually the brown trout pic was from a tough trip. I fished for 22 hours over four days to get two bites, one being the fish pictured (10.6 lbs), and a second weighing 8.6 lbs.
ximmix2007, the brown came from Obed.
Duster, good eye. The laker was from Shuswap, caught on a silver spoon, using a fly-rod with lead-core line while trolling. I had never fished there before and was surprised at the quality of the fishery. I fished mostly near Sorrento, and Copper Island. The brook trout spot is a secret, but Maligne lake has even better ones .
Snap, I really don't know sometimes why we ice-fish ?? Yeah, the camera-man that took a couple of those pics has SOME skills. Maybe we should change your handle to ClickFisher....?
Cheers,
Ayr
