Technically the middle of the bowzone would be....... Downtown, 248.

And to let you know...there is no hunting allowed on county of Parkland crown land. You can only hunt on private land.

Could someone shed some light on this? I'm pretty sure if they meant "Crown Land" they would have just said it outright. To my knowledge, crown land is neither an environmental reserve nor designated recreational land. This seems fishy to me. I know a good number of people who hunt on Parkland crown land

Reserve and County Recreational lands sounds to me like named County Parks or County Owned lands....not Crown Land, but I could be wrong.

Incorrect... you can DEFINITELY hunt in parkland county. As for them being tree huggers, maybe... but I doubt a lot of the folks from Wabamun could be classified as "environmentally responsible"

Last time I read the bylaw it said it is illegal to discharge a weapon on city property. So I would say private property is fair game.

In strathcona. You can't hunt on county owned land.

where to hunt
Being that my son is a peace officer , I asked the same question about discharging a bow and arrow .His statement was that most if not all municipalities and residential areas are off limits to the discharge of any projectile. This is to cover the all projectiles that can be discharged ,even as far as to include paintball guns , soft pellets and arrows . This covers all residential areas even in the counties such as acreage developements , you are not legally allowed to hunt in .And yes he knows his bylaws , this is what he is getting paid to know .
