So you go to the other hot spots and have a great time... by yourself... catching way more fish.....maybe.... I doubt it though!
If you do, make sure I am on the invite list next year Plleeease

I`m towing the mighty IGLU trailer out. From all reports the ice is thick enough for a tank and the ice roads are easy access.

Just got this text from a local

"On the paths it's not bad. If you break through the crusted snow in spots it might be tough. Definitely would be very hard going in a car. The roads pretty rutted up now in spots. 2 wheel trucks with good tires would be fine though"

Default Fire in ice?

What's the consensus of us having a fire on the ice? I could stop and get some fire wood from cabin on way up ? I know that not everyone likes the idea, so consensus wins !

As long as any unburned mess is cleaned up I see no problem.

I will be on the ice Saturday morning as usual (I'm a local). I will come by and see you guys, sounds like a good time. Hopefully there will still be a shirt available, I want one for sure.

Sorry, haven't been following AO too close recently.

I'll be leaving early Saturday morning, coming home Sunday. I'm taking my truck up, so if anyone wants a ride leaving from Morinville ~6AM Saturday, I'd be happy to share a ride.

For anybody in the Edmonton area, we'll be discussing the trip over wings tomorrow at Overtime in Sherwood Park
