The fiancée and I are heading up from Edmonton after a nap following the Lady Antebellum concert! Will be in a black fx4 and black Frabill headquarters hut! Sleeping out on the ice is the plan!

A few fish were caught and about 16 people out so far. Saturday looks to be a great day.

Here are a few pics from so far.

First fish through the ice

2nd fish through and only for day 1

The visit from the mayor was pretty cool and we got some key floaters and toques. Thanks again.

Unng. Some jerk who looks a lot like me fed me a bit too much scotch after a long day of work yesterday, bit slow this morning.
On the way now tho, passing through the thriving metropolis of smoky lake.

Sounds like same thing to me haha. Seriously though.. Even though I live here and can fish the lake anytime I wish... By far the best weekend on the ice yet. I'll be there next year for sure and camping over night. I've never laughed so hard before. Thanks to all who helped put together and organize the event!

I wanted to leave you with something to remember me by..

Thanks for letting my crash in the IGLU!

Did you find a pair of sunglasses, and a bottle of Advil cold/sinus in there? I think I left them in your luxury trailer.

Did you pick up the cans of Tims Hot Chocolate and coffee? I can't remember if i gave them to you or not?

I also have Adam's propane hose/filter which ill be returning to him on wednesday.

On the note of things left behind, I had a pair of brown Dakota leather gloves that went missing on Saturday I believe...anybody accidentally pick them up?

I'm also in the process of uploading a few pictures
