Lol.

I don't think I've EVER seen a thread that SafetyD hasn't declared the lake "Dead".

I have no idea if it's dead, but I would probably not put too much stock in SafetyD's lake reports, hahaha.

Too bad. It's been very close to winter killing for the last couple years (perch right up at the top at the end of the winter).

I wondered if the extra week or two of ice this year would do it. Too bad, was a nice little lake to buzz out to.

Perch will be back in a year or two though.

It hasn't winter killed so bad to declare all the perch dead lol, I would know as I have an acreage right off the lake, ice fish there as well and put the boat on there in the summer every year. There are still perch in Lake Nakamun, I was catching them the other day. Not very big but there are still plenty in there. Its presumed winter killed almost every year and yes they don't all survive the winter and many get picked off by the herons in spring/summer as well but you'll definitely still find them if your patient. Just have to figure out where they are and the right lure/technique.
