Welcome Tom from 2008 Glad u asked, I was jus about to post a Med. Hat update of the ol SSR. Buddy n I got out today for a couple hrs around 11 to a new spot we heard of n the Wally fishn was pretty good. 8 Eyes n plenty of bites, wind was still strong so had to keep a keen eye on the rodtip. FINALLY caught my first double too on the pic rig Highlight of the day for sure! All fish went back unharmed. Biggest was maybe 2.5-3#s caught on me double. All small but super fun! A new deep hole! Yahoo! Lovin this mid-November shore fishing
Cheers!

Yup. All cleared up. 2 days ago I thought game over for shore fishing...today, eyes a plenty. Kinda wondering where all the Goldeyes went though, haven't caught one for awhile...which is weird I think? Mind u, never really fished this late into November?
Cheers!

I've been told that goldeyes are migratory.

I don't think I've seen one since around the end of Sept when things started cooling off.

Speaking of boat launches, I hear they are upgrading the one at Strathcona Park and also have plans to put a new one in Riverside Park ( cant recall the real name of the park) next year. Anyone else hear of this?? Hope it's true
