Depends what exactly you are after, but for a fair price you could look at the bell and Carlson sporter stocks. Prophet River carries them, $400ish...I have one on my .300 WM and like it a lot.

Really depends on your budget. My favorites I own in order are manners EH3, HS precision sporter, and Bell and Carlson ( multiple )

The B and C is the most affordable and work well my only complaint is some of the inletting around the action often requires a little clean up to contact the aluminum block properly or need a lug and skim bed

Default Grs

If your looking to a combo of long range and hunting Look at the GRS Berserk. Light weight but very ergonomical. Call Scott at Red Star Targets he is a nice guy.

Long action or short Dave.

Are you looking for factory Remington stocks or after market.

I have 1 of each that I'm sell off my new rifles. Both are channelled out for heavy barrel rifles.

Bell and Carlson.

Went this route on a build, 6/284....really happy with the choice from 30 to -30 , hills to swamps no issues at all. Most importantly it fit me and the rifle.
