Default Trigger locks

What's everyone use on their pistols? I just got my first, a CZ Shadow. Any of the locks I have are too thick for the case and I don't really like the cheap one it came with. Maybe a new case is in order?

There have been a few discussions on the boards about this but no one has come up with a reasonable solution.

I have several key locks but for shipping and storage I still use those cheep plastic locks. I cut two tines off a fork so that the remaining tines fit the two holes in the lock and use that by spinning the fork. Not the best solution but it works.

Remove the barrel keep it separate from the pistol, pop it back when you're ready to shoot

Slide would have to be racked back? Or do you just close the slide on the lock? Won't fit in the case with the slide locked.

Ease the slide forward, it’ll be only about 1/4” out of the fully closed position.

I use combination trigger locks That I purchase from my local gun guy. Name on the lock is "UNEX" with a red maple leaf embossed on it. Much thinner overall than the locks CT carry. I purchased a couple of mastercraft cases from CT when they went on sale 1/2 price, similar to Pelican type. They have removable foam to custom fit my pistols, mags and mag loaders. Cases are lockable as well.

Omega gun locks.
They are a chamber lock. I use it on my handgun when I transport it to the range for the very reason as stated. The trigger lock makes it hard to close my gun case.
