Default 375

I am looking for one to buy but I would cast and reload so don’t need factory ammo.

there's a .375 winchester facebook group (cult) that's really helpful

I myself have a 94 Big Bore in .375, but haven't had the pleasure of taking a moose with it yet. I'm also lucky enough to have gotten a crapload of jacketed bullets with it.

375 Win is just a bit hopped up 38-55. Lots of bear and moose have been taken by them. I have shot bear with the 375, and moose and bear, plus deer and lots of other stuff with the 38-55. Any 200 to 225 grain projectile at 2200 FPS or so will kill either one dead as a door nail. Varget and 4198 are both good but I tend to use more Varget as I get higher velocity at slightly lower pressure. There are still a couple of ,375 flat nose jacketed bullets available, The 375 is a true .375, the 38-55 is more like .378-.381, just so you know when you are orderring cast. Good to get cast bullets .002 larger than the bore.

Barnes Original makes a 250 gr flat nose jacketed bullet specifically for the .375. Just bought 100 of them to try and use in my .38-55 due to a shortage of .38-55. Crimping groove is not right for my calibre though, would have to seat to deep and adjust powder charge. They are also undersize for my rifle. They might be for sale.
