Pigeon lake today.

Went out ice fishing at Pigeon Lake today with a couple buddies. It was our first time ice fishing and we had a really good time. Landed a few walleye, had a visit from an excellent CO and some freaky moments experiencing ice heaves (or whatever it's called when its re-freezing).

Was out today with the kids for a few hours. I drove out at Mulhurst. Ice was about 20". Lots of deep snow though, 10-14" of snow with a very hard crust on top. If you don't have a truck with 4x4 you might be best parking and walking on.
