I am also going to be in Panama at the end of March. Spending the first week out in the San Blas Islands and then have a house rented for the second week near Portobelo. Planning to get out fishing as much as possible that second week. Gatun lake for Peacock Bass and would like to do some reef or near shore fishing on the ocean for what ever wants to bite. Going to try to arrange a local boat to take us out on the ocean for at least a couple of days.

Fished on Gatun last year by Arenosa and caught lots of Peacock bass - mostly small, but had a late start. Still was a great day.

Were planning on fishing the canal and perhaps Gatun lake for peacocks before the main event at Tropic Star!!!
