So I picked up my first new gun, a Marlin XS7 in 7mm-08 last week. I bought 2 boxes of ammo, Remington Core-Loks and some Hornady GMX. Both shot well with core-Loks being slightly better. Can anyone tell me what the GMX are like on game? I'm hoping to run into an elk and WT next month and I'm wondering if the GMX would be a good choice or should I grab some Partions or Winchester Ballistic Silver Tips? Thanks in advance.
I've shot them in my 7mm rum with good results but I've never shot anything with them-from what guys that use them tell me they are very similiar to the tsx in performance.
