I remember Toronto @1963 you could buy a win.94 30.30 for $67.
Lee enfield 303 were $19 or $29 depending on the model.
I bought a new Ford 1/2 ton in '69 for $2800, and a 3 bedroom rancher for $9000.
That's the good old days.

yup, bought my Dad a brand new Browning BAR grade 2 in 1970 when I had my first job, for $200.00 and they threw in a box of shells, took me 2 months to pay for it at $50.00 every 2 weeks...LOL!!!

Now that you mentioned the Browning, I bought a browning auto shotgun in 1965 for under $200. Couldn't hit anything with it either.
