Default Cheers to the 2017 hardwater season

Well as I watch the sun set on the last day of our hardwater season I can't help but reflect on what a great season it was. Covered some ground this year, fishing 12 Alberta lakes and catching every species i targeted. Hope everyone else had one for the books. Here are some of my highlights. Would love to see some from the rest of you.

Time to dust off the open water gear. Good luck to all this summer!

Great photos! Was a great year for us too. Not as adventurous as you, but we did try two new lakes, and brought some home from one (Tilley B). Found a nice perch hole on another lake that we hope to revisit this summer.

I to had a great hard water season! I fished all the quad into lakes I wanted to. Fished lakes I wanted to for years. Never really catch any monsters but caught more fish then I thought.
Sad it's over but looking to get on the river and try for my sturgeon!

I too had a great time on the ice. Put lots of miles on the truck, driving to Slave, Wab, Chip, Calling, and Pigeon. Got lots of use out of all the new gear I bought, which was essentially everything One aspect I love is that you can take out kids and new friends without worrying about giving up your spots like in hunting. Even got two university students from Japan out on one day licences. Never caught any fish to brag of, but we sure had fun. Here are some pics...

Nice pics guys! Great season indeed.

Mine was focused on 3 central lakes. Fishing mostly new water on them. Great white season

Looking at all these pics and stories makes me realize what a green horn I am. Luckily, I had a great season in my own way:

Hit more lakes than ever before
Got skunked a few times trying new lakes, though some paid off
Landed my first white
Landed my PB walleye
Landed my PB perch
Had a blast with a bunch of friends
And most importantly, put some food on the table
