Default Lost and Found

My Brother and I spent the past weekend turkey hunting in the Poucpine Hills. While hiking a ridge we came a upon a Snowmoblie. Good looking unit no plates and started on the thrid pull. It had been there awhile no tracks at all. was in about foot of snow. It was a Artic Cat Prowler. I wrote the VIN number down and told the Land Owner. It could be a bitch to find again and I was not about to go back up the hill unless a Turkey was gobbling. I am assume the unit was stolen and then got stuck. Does finder's keeper's apply here.

I left it up to land owner to contact Police. It is on Forestry Land but you have to cross Pirvate Ground to get to it. Its about 3 mile walk uphill over the private land. I have no idea how you get there on public ground only.

Is there a way one can find out if it has been reported stolen.....?

I no nothing about snowmoblies but if all I had to do was walk back to that turkey I might find a little energy.

I do have the VIN Number so if you are missing one I may have just found it.

Default police

Phone the cops and tell them the VIN. The poor little kitty is likely missed by its owners
