Default Snaring Wild Boar

With coyote prices dropping so much, I've put more effort towards beavers this year. I still need to get a snaring fix and am looking at snaring wild boar as the numbers in my area are increasing every year.

Does anyone have any experience with snaring wild boar? I'm in Central SK so freehangers aren't an option so I'll need to use Wolfmaster Rams most likely with 1/8" snares and tethers.

Any info or experience would be appreciated.

Default wild pig snaring

Snaring a wild pig would be easy to do but hard to hold with the device
When that pig gets caught it'll be tearing up the area.

I would think YouTube should have some snaring advice as far as the porkers go ,also try some of the US trap/ snare forums ...they got em down there for sure ...keep us updated.
