Default Blood Indian Reservoir - Bigstone

Hi All,
Spending some time with my young family in this region for a few days and wondering about fishing opportunities in the area? I have read that Blood Indian can be pretty good for trout. Are there any Pike/Walleye lakes in the area?

They drained it due to damage, repaired things and allowed it to refill.

Is there any motor restrictions on Blood indian? Like electric only or is it suitable for bigger boats? Thanks.

Not a large reservoir so what do you mean by larger boats. A 20ft would be way over kill.

They have changed limits. Max daily is 3 but only one can be either a brown, brook or tiger. And they have to be min. 30cm.

Lake is also now getting over run with prussian carp. They do have a boat launch but it is a very tiny dock. A lot of shallow spots but the centre of the lake runs between 10 and 20ft. I have always found the better fishn early morn till about 10 and then later aft.

Good luck

I believe there is max speed restriction on the lake. Usually 12km/h.
But I maybe wrong.......

Yes you have to keep the speed down. It is not a water ski or jet ski type of lake. All the seniors that camp around the lake would be going bonkers. LOL

Thanks guys. No not a ski boat. Just a fisherman and a 18ft aluminum. Just wasnt sure what launch and depths were like.
