Default Eagle Lake

I know the season doesn't open till May 8, but anyone been to eagle lake by Strathmore lately to see if it was winter killed? Dalemead lake has dead fish every where, so more than likely Dalemead has been winter killed.

The amount of dead fish at Dalmead is crazy, and that's just what you can see. I would have never guessed that many fish were even in there. Saw large pike, whitefish, and some jumbo perch dead.

I was going to try it last Saturday now they've opened the launch on the east side, but the water is pretty shallow there.

As far as winter-kill, there's a lot of water there, the fishing will be god right now.
