Take this with a grain of salt given the source - but if this is true, then…. Wow.

https://capforcanada.com/chinese-pol...s-says-report/

Quote:
As published this week by The Telegraph in the U.K., a Quebec charity suspected of hosting two secret Chinese overseas police stations has received $4.45 million from Canada’s Liberal government over the past three years.

According to “Special Rapporteur” David Johnson— former member of the Trudeau Foundation and long-term Trudeau family friend — a public inquiry “is unnecessary because much of it would have to be held in private due to top-secret information.“

CAP has little doubt regarding the “top secret” element of the investigation. Our 35-years as a Liberal Party-Chinese Government watchdog organization concludes that top secret information has been controlling Liberal Party politics for the past half-century.

If stuff like this is true, would charges of Treason against the PMO be warranted?

Nothing like living in a country run by organized criminals!

Because of past events it’s believable.
Hopefully more releases from Csis.

Who is going to lay charges, and how do you keep the liberals from ha ing the evidence made inadmissible in a courtroom?

Default Interesting Article

in the Globe and Mail on Johnston's review and report. Report was being translated into french before the interviews were complete and he did not interview the relevent people who were screening the information from CCIS.

What is the correct spelling for whitewash?

Another rather cutting view of the "special rapporteur's" report.
You could fill a newspaper’s obituary page with all the institutions Justin Trudeau’s Liberals have marred, stomped over like defiant toddlers in the throes of a tantrum and ultimately dealt crippling blows it will take years to recover from, if ever.

The latest: governors general, and the once bipartisanly esteemed David Johnston. The special rapporteur could’ve easily retired in relative peace, but instead Trudeau recruited him back to public life to serve as what very much looks like his puppet.

Funny how on TV Justin’s excuse as to why Johnson is great is because Harper liked him.

I thought he hated all that Harper liked?

Worth a read. I have found him much less biased than I expected.

Default Johnston resigns

Most would say it’s about time

Now the pressure is on Trudeau to call a public inquiry.

Breaking news that will not look good on the Turd.

The special "rapper-on-tour" David Johnston quit this afternoon. Even more controversy and conflict of interest uncovered that Johnston contracted Navigator; the same consulting firm that was representing the disgraced Liberal Han Dong.

What's next now. Will the Turd appoint another friend or do what the entire country wants, a full open public inquiry.

Is it just me or does anyone here detect an echo from the south?

Oh no - it wasn't me, I'm innocent, everyone's out to get me, it's all a big smear campaign, the other guys are way worse than me, I can do whatever I like 'cause I'm in charge, I never did it, waaah, waah...

This is what what happens in any country when you elect a narcissistic buffoon, it doesn't matter from which side of the spectrum - it appears in present case that there is no ability tell their right from the their left anyway.(or count past ten with their socks on)
Rights get trampled, respected institutions and reputations get trashed the country goes down the toilet...

I wouldn't expect a whole bunch of stuff to come from an inquiry, CSIS likely has secrets to keep hidden as well, and revealing some bits of info can reveal programs and capabilities they don't want to advertise. Although there are probably alot of methods of obtaining info that are technically already public in other arenas,, just not linked to that effort. And there are things like ex-ambassadors, that are/were offering to sell some very nasty stuff in Canada, but, of course, not to the Cdn gov't, as that wouldn't be cool at all. Deny, deny, deny.
And you never know if the Chinese programs are being miined for some really cool info, or not.
