Western Canadian Kayak Fishing Trail

I know there are a bunch of kayak fishers on here and thought I would mention the Western Canadian Kayak Fishing Trail if any kayak fishers are interested in competitive fishing from their ‘yaks. I just received a shipment from Railblaza to be prizes for this year again. Good folks and lots of fun at these events.

is it open to canoe fishers as well? the only kayak i have is inflatable and its not really suited for fishing unfortunately. also do they have any events around a few hours of the lethbridge area?

In the past they have allowed canoes with the stipulation that you could only have one person in the canoe. Check to see if anything's changed, but I think you'd be ok.

It is open to canoes. Anything manpower. Nothing motorized.
