Default Minn Kota Shear Pin

Just a heads up. I decided to buy a spare prop for my Minn Kota Traxxis 55. It was a bit banged up and figured having a spare prop would be a good idea. When i removed the prop I poked a bit at the shear pin. It was broken in the middle but both halves were intact in and in place! Very lucky. I have ordered extra shear pins. Just a reminder that maybe pulling off the prop and checking the shear pin is a good idea, especially if its a few years old now. Until now I never had a spare shear pin with me. I won't make that mistake again!!

Doesn't take much to snap those shear pins - literally a 3/4" stick will do it.

Good idea to have some on board in the glove box.
