Default Only 1 day to Hunt!

My Father is visiting from the east. Only has one day left to hunt. Looking for a decent WT buck. Been hunting in the north (516), but WT haven't been abundant.

How's 340, 342? Any thoughts people? Just trying to get him one more hunting experience. Want to stay within a couple hours of Edmo.

I have a mulie and bear tag to fill as well. Will we see any?

Thanks in advance.

I've never hunted in 340 or 342 so I can't be much help. I just wanted to wish you and your dad luck. Let us know how you do.

Was in 338 on Friday morning for only a couple hours and seen several bucks, one which was decent but did not have a long enough look, however I could see mass and height. The other 5 or 6 were basket bucks. Good Luck!

You might want to try 350 or 511 if your in edmonton. Soon as you cross the athabasca river on the way to slave lake you are in the zone. Lots of deer in the burnt areas. Should only be about 1.5 hour drive depending where you are in edmonton
