Default How much do you spend at carwash?

Curious how much you guys dish out at the wash,
at fast pace, takes me about $4.00 to wash my truck,
and $6 at slower pace..the rates seem ludacris!

Default Washes

On the work truck nothing to drop $40.00 to $50.00 a wash so she only gets a bath about once a month.

Same here

Need to bring my own soap though. But that's no biggie.

Spring to fall I use the power washer at home. Used on 2 trucks , both mowers after each use. Plus other stuff.

Winter my F-350 will take 40 - 50 bucks to get the mud off , maybe 2 - 3 times.

So , about $200.00 / year ?
Do not really keep track.....

Summertime...$0.00. The car wash by my house sucks, not much pressure or soap. Kind of a ripoff. I wash it on my driveway.

6 bucks wouldn't wet one side let alone wash it....40 is the norm if there's any amount of mud and 20 if you're just washing the dust off.

I went from Tobin Lake, SK to The Pas, MB a few days back. The "highway" between them is about 60% gravel, and a good portion of that was sloppy. My truck and boat were a mess (not muddy, just a thick film on them) so I stopped to clean them before I hit the next lake. The machine only accepted loonies, which I found unusual for this day and age. I started with the truck. First dollar got the passenger door and fender nice and clean. WTF. I timed the next go and was much less particular about my cleaning. 60 seconds. Crazy. I only had $6 in loonies so I ended up washing the doors of the truck, the tailgate, the step bars, the boat tarp, the top 12" of the boat and the area around the boat trailer winch.

They needed cleaning again when I got home. $7 was enough to do an extremely thorough wash job on the truck, boat, trailer and boat interior and tarp.

I hate a dirty vehicle and won't have mud falling off in my shop. I probably spend $30/week between my truck and my jeep

Son GAVE me a 40. Wall mart pressure washer. Good enough to wash the Poplar crap off the horse trailer.

We take our company trucks that come from the north for under truck washes. $400 per unit. Just can't do it yourself. Bet on a lot of those trucks there is 500 pounds of mud underneath.

I wash at home, when I do it.

Truck needs doing but I've running the highway so much right now it's dirty first time I hit rain anywhere so haven't bothered.

It depends. Generally I prefer to wash my vehicle by hand. If I take it somewhere generally its about 9-10$ and the vacuum is free. Might as well clean the inside as well as outside!

Around $25 for my truck. I like it clean and shiny, so I wash it when it is time for a cleaning.

I park all my vehs (truck/jeep/atv) on my front lawn and wash them. Have the best looking lawn in the cul-de-sac. Sometimes I have to remove large lumps of clay from the lawn though...............otherwise the lawn gets watered and fertilized at the same time. Different story in the winter obviously...
