Default New style treble or improper manufacturing

Another forum member an myself have purchased four XPS swim baits from bass pro, three in store one online and different colour patterns.

All of the hooks attached when purchased did not have the typical 120° offset. They were two 90's and a 180°.

I assume it was a mistake but am still curious the more I think about it the more I think it could be on purpose.

Haven't seen that before.
If it follows the swimbait in the same manner as the photo is taken it should reduce the amount you would snag on the bottom.

Went online to find a photo to show how it would sit and all the stock photos show a stock hook so I guess they are just a mistake. Suppose I should have done that first.

Edit: specifically the pic of the neon bluegill and shad. Not sure if third point is just hidden or if hooks are only doubles.
