Default I'm pumped for the the event

By my reckoning it was a successful event. But WE can definitely make it better this year. I wonder if the moderators would allow a new "Second Annual Boys and Girls Club Ice Fishing Day" thread to be stickied for the duration until a month after the event?

I don't have too much that I can donate being a new retailer, but I will give what I can. I will also give a discount to anyone who volunteers. Discount codes will be given by pm once registered for the event. I will also promote this event in our monthly newsletters as soon as I get more info on dates and location, to try and generate more donations from people. The Event looked and sounded like a huge success last year and a tremendous amount of organization and support!!

Well done!

Thanks Ogre, we burn up enough space of AO's, I dont think a sticky is needed

Thank You MTB, very kind of you. I will be in touch . Maybe we could have you meet with the organizers and discuss possibilities.

Also big thanks to Kenovette for donating ice rods over the summer and for Ogre for delivering them to me.

The Fisherman Guy has once again stepped up BIG TIME to be a huge driving force in the event. So much of what good happened last year was because of His hard work and unreal genersousity.

HorseTrader will again come with every possible gadget and gizmo loaded in a trailer from Edmonton, thanks Santa.

Thanks also to the many people who have called, sent texts and emails, Your kindness is greatly appreciated.

wasnt the organizers fault the fish were tight lipped, more like a bad suggestion on location, (I take the blame for that ) guess we will have to go after the girly fish this time. Im in for whatever I can help with . Look forward to it again.

Thank You everyone for showing support, its greatly appreciated. Inital response will dictate the size of event we will undertake. I will not scramble like a madman like last year. Going to war with a gun this year, leaving the stick at home. Some large organizations have already vcommitted to sending volunteers and numerous returning sponsors have contacted me already.

Big Thanks to iliketrout/puddles as he has stepped up and joined The Fisherman Guy and myself to direct this event.

And Thanks HorseTrader/Santa for leading the Northern Posse on your Return trip to the event and all you bring. Too all you northern peeps, thank you very much thats just plain top notch for you all to make the time and commitment.

Discuss away. As the directors nail down details we are open to suggestion. When firm facts are planted a new thread will be started on a forum somewhere.

p.s. Dago get ready I want to honour the prize at first ice on Lake XYK

Thanks everyone

Count me in again too Chubb.

It will just be me this year because of the separation.

Due to my thing for nurses, I will be the guy with a barbed treble hook buried in his hand who smells like Sex Panther cologne and Axe deodorant.
