Tried it but it doesnt give load data for the 300 win mag and Hornady BTSP. My dad, who use to reload gave me about 120 of these and I would like to try them out.

Thanks

Curtis

For RL22 go to Alliance Powders website, under products you will be able to find the powder and their recipes for the 300 win mag. The maximum load shows 77 grains for a 180 bullet.

The latest Hornady manual does not list Rl-22 or 7828sc for the '06. That being said I have worked up a load for a couple of '06's using Rl-22 with the 180 gr btsp interlock. Standard r primers and win brass. Starting at 55 gr and working up to 59 gr . Again be safe if taking this route and start low and work up.
The Hornady data for the 300WM is: Hornady brass, wmlr primer, 180 gr btsp IL. Rl-22 starting load 63.5 max load 76 gr. wow lots of room to play.
For the same as above with 7828sc start at 64.5 gr and max at 75.2

Hope this helps . It's tough to beat H 4350 in the '06 if your not comfortable with using your current powders. S7.

You should probably buy their manual if you have a lot of bullets to use. Each powder manufacturer only gives out data for their own powder. And not for every bullet under the sun.

Buy the new manual, it's very good. The guys at Hornady are very helpful...1800.338.3220. I usually talk to Doug or Bob, but any of their tech guys are great and they know their stuff and I know theywould help you out.
