Default Ice Conditions At Wabamun

Just wondering if anyone has info as to ice conditions at main launch at the town of Wabamun?
I'm heading out there in the morning, just looking for a heads up.
Thanks.

Lots of ice and likely a fair bit of snow from yesterday too. If you're in a truck you should be fine, but if you're in a car you'll probably want to stay on the paths that others have already broken

Ice was well over 2 feet on Wabamun today. Weather was crap until about 11 when the snow let up. Only got one fish but it was a beauty.

Be careful...there are holes from last weekend that got buried by the snow that are essentially still open underneath.

I'm out near Fallis right now...it's a little sloppy but not too bad.

The short version of what I had typed out before is that I've landed 5 in about an hour and a half now.

Hey Geezle just packing up to go out tomorrow morning too but am taking the wife and son out. everytime I go lately I usually only manage one pike in like 4 hours. I usually catch them on a smelt or herring on the tip ups around a foot off bottom but have been catching by just jigging spoons too. Is there anything else I could do that will increase chance of having a more productive day tomorrow? I'm usually in 7-18 feet deep water and just off the point at falls or abit before it if your just driving on. I'm wondering about the 30' hole maybe, I haven't fished over it ever yet. Anyway good to hear things are good out there and we'll be out thee tomorrow hopefully early.
