Default Whitefish lake report

Went out this afternoon for the first time and went across to the rock piles. Trolled with some crank baits and something grabbed the rapala taildancer. The fish had some power pulling drag several times. Finally got the fish boat side a large pike. Measured out at 38 inch. Then trolling around caught some nice walleye all greater than 50 cm. Smashed a prop while launching. Careful out there. Some big rockpiles.

Nice fish.

Ouch! Lucky, you didn't break the shear pin.

There isn't a shear pin on this prop. It wasn't me either I was parking the truck when this happened.

Nice pike always wonder the potential of that lake driving by. Is it on a Indian reserve?
