Fishing the Dogpound - Saturday May 23, 2015

Fellow Outdoorsmen/women....... I need your help, this has been on my mind all day.

At 11:00 this morning a gentlemen by the name of "Rick" driving a light blue GMC came down my driveway. I live NW of Cochrane along the dogpound creek. For lack of memory, he had a "Calgary angler" or some fishing club shirt on. We bs'd for a while and he was looking for crown land where the dogpound went through. I gave him directions to where he could access the dogpound via crown land.

Although he didn't ask for permission to fish my property, the more I think about it, it was exactly what he wanted to do...... now I feel like a complete ***** for not offering! Truth be told, he caught me at a bad time as the gf had just given me my list of chores to do for the day.

Anyways, if anyone might recognize a "Rick" driving a blue GMC and part of a Calgary fishing club, please PM me as I would like to give him permission to fish and I don't want him to think I'm that guy!

The only "fly fishing" (fly tying) club I know in Calgary is the Hook and Hackle Club... Contact info is online if you wanted to drop them a line (no pun intended).
