Default favorite pheasant loads

just wondering what everyone's favorite pheasant load is and what they use most with either a 20 or 12 gauge

for a 12 gauge:
Brass case, fibre wads ,80 grains of FFG, 1 OZ of copper plated 6's or nickle plated 7 1/2's

16 gauge:
Fiocchi hull, SG16 wad, 23 grains of Longshot powder, 1 oz of 7 1/2 nickle plated shot.

20 gauge:
BPI Multi Hull, BPI BW20 wad, 27 grains of Aliant Steel powder, 7/8 oz of 7 1/2 Nickle or #6 copper plated shot .

28 gauge
BPI multi Hull, 30 grains of H110 owder, BP HV28 wad, 2/8 os of 7 1/2 nickle plated shot.
For ruffed grouse in the 28:
AAHS hull, 14 grains of Longshot powder, BPI SG28 hull,3/4 os of #8 or 9 shot.

I have lots of other loads as well, but these are the ones I load mostly.

12 ga. 3" Imperials (old red ones) #4/#5
20 ga 3" Remington Nitro Pheasant loads #4/#5

All for wild birds, not over pointing dogs.

Any maker, 1 1/4 oz. of #5 shot at 1300-1400 fps., both 12 and 20ga.

I use 19 grains of lil gun in the .410 and I think I've got Blue dot in the mec loader for the 20 ga.

Just hit them in the head.

Late season 4's.

12 ga.

I don't really care what brand as long as they go bang.

Fiocchi Golden Pheasant #6 shot, usually in 20 or 28 gauge. I very rarely use a 12 gauge.

#5 most season. #4 late season. Nitro Pheasant

Flushing dog

If an area where he might flush up a duck also (eg cattail marsh)
