Default Looking for bigger fish

I've been to cardiff five times now this season to practise my fly casting and hook-up with some fish, but now I am looking for a change of pace. I want to hook up with some bigger fish (like in the 2 to 6 pound range) but do know where to start looking. Maybe Muir? I don't need hot spots but advise on lakes and flies would be great. Thanks in advance for the advise

goldeye, muir, star, hasse and east pit all have some decent sized trout in them. as for flies, leeches and minnow patterns have been producing as of late. i am gonna head out to star tonight, will update when i return. take care, rob.
