Default First Ever Salmon Trip

O.k, i live to hunt, and always thought fishing was boring, I kinda hated it(i love spear gun fishing though) ,but this last weekend changed my mind, salmon fishing was amazing. My first fish came in the first 2 min, a 29 lb springer, with my last fish being a 36 lbs . But thats not what hooked me, and made me already pre book for next year. It literally was the one that got away, he almost spooled me twice, I had him at, and around the boat 3 times until he snapped my hook( the actual j in the hook at the net) My guide and the guide fishing close to us both agreed that it was somewhere between 60 and 70 lbs. He jumped at least 5 times for everyone to see, and i fought him for 40 - 50 min. What a high and dissapointment all in one sec. I can't wait to find walter again. I also lost one in the 40's.
