Wow...posting about poaching on site like facebook where scores of people know your real name is a sure way to get busted. I hope someone that knows them passes it along to F&W.

One of those kids live right in Alberta beach,I have seen him there. My mother inlaw lives at the lake.Right now some of the old dried up creek beds are full of water and the Walleyes and pike can be seen in them,I was surprised as it hasnt been that way for years. All that extra snow this year made a huge diffirence. Those guys seem to have total disregard for the rules and dont seem to realize the penalties could have there folks paying up for a while!!!

I went on the site, and took screenshots of every post and comment, all the threats and bragging etc., and the photos earlier this afternoon. Saved them all to a file, which will be emailed to a Fish and Wildlife Officer in that area in the next few minutes. They'll get what's coming to them.

Hey Vinnie, stop and think. You have to be registered on face book to see the posts. If not then you cant see them. its also possible that the posts have been deleted. Just like I deleted all the flaming that was going on here. If people have nothing constructive to add to a topic I suggest they keep their fingers off the key board.

Since this has been reported, will the person that reports it get any feedback on what happens or does it just quietly get taken care of??? I'd like to see the results of this personally.

I read the postings on facebook too, wasn't pretty but typical for what you see on profile sites today. Some pictures, and someone that looks like one of the fathers.

It's pitiful tho, they claim hook and release on the walleye and pike (even tho the season was closed), but yet, they have fingers up the gills of the fish they caught and squeezing the throats. No way those fish will survive back in the water. Even pictures of the five of diamonds used that are not barbless.

Just to let you guys know that the offenders have been caught and will be charged. Also to let you know that not all the pictures on the web site are from this year. I would like to thank those who have contacted your local F&W office and passed on information. Stay tuned for further updates!!

Thanks,
Game Warden
