just far enough to get outside the "box". I made 5"×16" boards for smaller waters they should work fine.

I've used planer boards rowing a 12' aluminum so I would think that they would work fine behind an electric.
Can troll for days on 8-10 batteries.

I hope to have six batteries for the trip ,will also be going halfers on a 50lb+ thrust trolling motor with a buddy. I have rowed a single board before, worked just fine. .

Are you overnighting it or day trips?
On our 4 day overnighters we bring 10 ( 24V motor ) and usually have 4 full for the trip home last day.

hope to make it out there for a long weekend. two full days fishing with a half day on one end. I dont need to go far, water temp and prevailing winds will show me where to look for the biguns. often the big fish are right under everyones noses. only time will tell.

Nice.
Looks like you had some nice calm days.
That tent looks pretty cozy too.
Were heading up thursday. Hopefully weather holds up and winds stay down.
