Me and friends will check Coal Lake for gators and perch. Who knows - maybe leftovers.I never seen perch at that lake, but according to regs is there.

Can a moderator delete this spam, maybe ban this person from the forum? Who the hell asks for rides out fishing?

Your are smart! How did you find that a member AO forum with over 1000 posts is a spammer? Go help FBA, CIA or KGB - they will like you and give you big $$$$

In most cases one of the best things about this forum is the networking and sharing of information, successes, etc. That may and in the case of Baitfisher include a ride.

I was going to head to PCR solo last Tuesday. Monday night I noticed a post on here from fisher looking for a ride. I thought WTF heres a fishing person to hang with and someone I could help.

So Fish...ignore the spam comments. Im sure there are many folks on here that will help you if they can.

CR

Baitfisher,
As soon as the lakes in Central Ab have enough ice, and not too much snow for my old Ford camperized van, I would be happy to have you as a partner. My GF hates the cold, so will not ice fish... I have a ton of equipment, but only a hand auger until my new IceGator gets here..I am not lazy, but have a new knee, and discs in my back so am limited to where I can go. BUT, hopefully be ready for lots of trips within a few hours drive, and you are welcome to come along...
Some peeps just have no clue....

Hey Dougie,

You and fish may be able to get someone out at PCR to punch a few holes for you guys. I was out there last tuesday and there are some nice folks who would understand your scenario and Im sure they would help.

Who the hell asks that a member of this forum, who has been on it for 2.5 years, and has over a 1000 posts be banned for looking for someone to go fishing with?

I don't know who (if anyone) has the legitimate right to . . . but someone with a handful of posts who has been here for a month is makin' himself look like a fool if he does!

Seriously dude, get over yourself.

Anyhoo . . . lookin' good for Sunday so far I'm thinking I wanna try CVR, McGregor, or maybe even Newell. And . . . at least one of us knows how to work my 6" manual auger

a 6" auger might not be wide enough for places with big pike

Maybe for Chestermere but for the lakes that I frequent for bigger pike a prefer my 9 inch jiffy to get the job done and ensure my big fish will get up the hole.

It will have to do (unless someone else drills the holes for us). While it would be a big pain in the arse, one can make a hole bigger than 6" with a 6" auger. Not that I plan on doing that, though.

I'm leaning towards CVR.
