Default Dace Jr. Catches A Monster Brown

Dace Jr.'s birthday today so we decided it would be a good night for a little stroll down to the river. He landed a beauty, and even let me catch one. What a nice kid. Way to go Son, great Birthday Brown!

Dace

Nice fish Dace and Dace jr. I may need to hire you for a day whenever I make it up that way to help me hook into a good sized brown. The bow is a cruel cruel river to me.

i had to run out to the truck and measure the mark on the JR's rod dustin. 25" on the nose. i thought it to be longer, none the less beauty looking specimen.

... and we're going fishing and why?

Nice, nice, nice, nice fish!!!!!

There's a pic of a Huge Bull Trout on here and I swear it was caught in that exact spot,, I'll try to find the thread. And Dace, make sure your son doesn't skip English classes to fish.

thanks for all the great comments everyone. JR has read them all. it will definatley be a birthday fish to remember. we catch lots, but seeing your son land a fish like that on his big day. truly priceless. i tell you, i scrambled out of waist deep water pretty darn quick after he yelled "got one" and seen his rod arched over and line peeling. then the fished rolled a couple times and i got a glimpse of him....almost stepped on my rod when i reached shore. awesome.

nate
the offer has been extended to you before, let me know when you're coming. stonefly hatch.

art
i fish alone lots too. not easy getting a shot of yourself and a fish standing in the river. offering to get a pic for you when i seen you hook up from down river was the first thing that popped into my mind. anytime.

mike
i've said it before. OA is not facebook. to me the pics are about the fish, not us. no judgement taken.

gus
why are we going fishing? because Sir, you offered. how's your day tommorow?

Dace
