Just heard this on the radio driving around. Brutal for sure to hear a kid lost his life in such a horrific way.

I doubt the dogs are on this earth much longer. Nothing can be said to excuse their death sentence, even if it is found to be the kid tormented them.

I wait to hear what breed it was.

This location was a known problem. Just like everywhere else, it was ignored. So tired of no one being accountable anymore.

The City of Edmonton said EPS is leading the investigation into the attack, but was able to confirm animal control had been called to the residence previously.

That included peace officers responding to multiple barking complaints in the past year, which the city said resulted in warnings and one ticket.

There have been two other dog attacks inside the house this year alone, the city said.

“In 2024, animal control peace officers responded to two attack complaints isolated to inside the private residence. One complaint is still under investigation while the other was concluded without charges,” the city said Tuesday afternoon.
I'm without words...

Bullet between the ears if the two dogs. Murder 2 charge on the owner. Previous attacks elevate it from manslaughter to M 2.

Not to derail but a Calgary police officer was involved in a dog attack today.
He ended up shooting it. They said it looked like a pitbull type dog.
