Not sure why you'd import them when every gas station in sask that sells bait has leeches and they're not expensive, but good to know.

The bait in gas stations and box stores is tiny and shriveled and not well cared for. These leeches are fat, happy and good swimmers.

I bought 2 lbs. last June from Angela and have kept 3 dozen alive all winter. Constant water changes and temperature are essential; store leeches sit in tubs and die early.

Getting mine this week.
