Default Your kids first fish pics.

Thought i'd start a thread with only the little ones first fish. This is my little guy and he did all the work himself with no help from dad.I reamed it into his head for days to hang on tight and don't stop reeling, I had an a little rod that he was practcing with in the back yard and I would pull the line for him. He was the first to catch one that day, we were only five mins in when he caught it. We were trolling on river and when he caught it andeveryone was focused on him and on the video you can see the bank getting closer and closer as gido was paying more attention to him then where the boat was drifting.I don't know who was more happy us or him.Should be on the wall soon. Next up his littlesister.

Here is my son with his first cuttie caught on a fly. Was sure frustrating for him when he first started to fly fish. And for me as well. hehehe He sure learned alot from my Yankee buddies that come to Alberta to flyfish everyear.

Nice pics Redranger.

We had a stocked trout pond for a time and it provided a lot of family fun. Fishing in summer and skating in winter.

Son with first fish.

Took my boy out to Hasse to catch the millions of perch that are there. I figured it was probably the best first fish for him as they're so small and not too intimidating. Not bad for 2 1/2.

Hey guys,
Upon request of my dad he asked me to post some of me when I was younger! I think he just wants to show off what a cute kid he had, I'm wondering what happened to me! I'm a big ogre (if you look at the other pictures that I'm in)! The first picture is me with 3 brookies, all caught where we call the beaver ponds, must have caught well over a 100 that day! I loved it out there, my 2 favorite passions back then, fishing and 4X4ing! The second picture I'm not to fond of, the stupid Toronto Maple Leafs jacket (grandma bought most likely on sale!!!) I think it was about a 3.5 pound pike and well the only photographic evidence of me giving my little brat of a sister a hug! WOOOHHOOOO big fish! (did miss a much bigger pike cruishing the shoreline!

Here you go guys, I hope there isnt any phedofiles on here Heres a little tid bit of information! My Dad still has that bruiser of a Jeep! Can haul a full moose out in 2 pieces!! He's owned it for well over 20 years now!

Cheers,
Brett

Not her first fish, but her first rainbow. As you can see by the smile, rainbows are her new favorite species.

At ages 4 and 6, they could already attach a slip bobber and had their favorite flies (which often would outperform dad's choice of flies.)
